Total Quality Management Practices and Their Impact on Electronic Transactions: A Case Study at the Iraqi National Oil Company/Baghdad

Abstract

This research demonstrated the in impact of Total Quality Management (TQM) and its dimensions of Leadership (LE) and Empowerment (EM), as well as its prominent role in Electronic Transactions (ET) and its dimensions of Design (DE) and Integration (IN). We reviewed all previous studies related to the topic. We identified several types of employees at the Central Oil Company/Iraq. The questionnaire was distributed to 180 employees. Despite efforts to collect data, (9) were lost and (171) were found to be valid. The results were analyzed using SPSS, and all (4) hypotheses were positive. We strongly urge organizations to take full advantage of this valuable research, which will give them a competitive edge. This research will significantly improve the lives of their employees by creating a more positive work environment.
