Abstract

This article examines the development and transformation of the Uzbek language in the context of digital communication. The widespread use of digital technologies, social networks, messaging applications, and online platforms has significantly influenced the scope of Uzbek language use and its communicative potential. The study focuses on new words and expressions, abbreviations, loanwords, Internet slang, and specific features of written communication emerging in the digital environment. It also discusses the observance of literary language norms in digital communication and the prospects for the further development of the Uzbek language. The article argues that digital communication is an important factor influencing the lexical composition, stylistic potential, and forms of use of the Uzbek language.
