Abstract

This article examines the legal and organizational foundations of environmental protection, including state policy, environmental legislation, and issues of international cooperation. It also analyzes the laws adopted in the Republic of Uzbekistan concerning environmental protection, their practical significance, and the role of international conventions in addressing ecological problems. The study substantiates that legal mechanisms and the state governance system play a crucial role in maintaining ecological balance.
